Succeeding the first model, the astatine 2 is again the fastest shoe in our collection. We listened to the voice of the athletes and completely redesigned the upper to make them even lighter, thanks to a completely new construction with an extra light one-layer mesh. But lighter should not compromise comfort. The new ergonomic shaped sock liner and the updated (full) microfiber tongue design are features to increase fit and overall comfort. We also improved our already proven "wavefoam" midsole compound to have a better balance between cushioning and propulsion and a full-length carbon plate stays right in place providing additional rebound. Performance was and is the right word for this outstanding model with vibrant fila design lines and technology.
